Meet the Founder: Nancy Hopkins
Hi, I’m Nancy Hopkins — a textile wall art enthusiast, interior styling geek, and the voice behind ArtWallTips.
My love for fabric on walls started in a tiny rented studio in Alaska (yes, where the winters are long and the walls need warmth). With no permission to paint, I turned to tapestries, vintage quilts, and handmade weaves. One tapestry led to another, and soon friends were asking, “How do you hang that without damaging the wall?” or “Where do you find pieces that don’t look cheap?”
So I created this website — to answer those questions once and for all.
Over the past 8 years, I’ve:
- Styled textile art for over 200 homes (from cozy cabins to modern lofts)
- Tested every hanging method under the sun (command hooks? curtain rods? sewing loops? I’ve got you covered)
